MoreTasks Business Compliance and Ethics
Last Updated: September 14, 2026
Our Commitment
MoreTasks Business Solution Pvt. Ltd. (“MoreTasks,” “the Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to conducting business responsibly, ethically and in accordance with applicable laws and contractual obligations. We expect everyone working for or representing MoreTasks to act with integrity, exercise sound judgment, protect confidential information, respect people and business partners, and comply with the policies and requirements that apply to their work.
As an outsourcing company serving businesses and customers across global markets, MoreTasks may operate across different legal and regulatory environments. The requirements that apply to a particular activity may depend on the location, legal entity, customer relationship, service provided, data processed and other relevant facts.
This Business Compliance and Ethics Policy establishes our general approach. It does not replace the Code of Conduct, employment terms, certified standing orders or service rules, POSH policy, information-security requirements, privacy notices, customer contracts or other applicable company policies. Where applicable law imposes a stricter requirement, applicable law prevails.
Scope and Application
This policy applies to employees and, where relevant, contractors, consultants, temporary workers, officers and other persons acting for or representing MoreTasks, subject to the terms of their engagement and applicable law.
Specific legal requirements may apply only when the relevant statutory conditions are met. References below marked “Conditional applicability” are included to explain the legal framework without representing that MoreTasks is currently subject to every listed requirement.
Compliance with Laws and Regulations
MoreTasks expects business activities to be conducted in compliance with laws and regulations applicable to the relevant entity, location, service and activity. Employees and representatives must not knowingly circumvent legal or contractual requirements, and should raise questions when they are unsure which requirements apply.
Because MoreTasks serves customers in multiple markets, legal requirements may apply differently to the Company, its customers or particular projects. Customer-specific obligations should be addressed through appropriate contracts, statements of work, security requirements, data-processing terms and other documented arrangements.
Ethical Business Practices
MoreTasks expects business decisions to be made honestly, fairly and in the legitimate interests of the Company and its customers. Employees and representatives must not use their position for improper personal benefit or engage in conduct that could reasonably undermine trust in MoreTasks.
Business relationships should be managed professionally, transparently and consistently with applicable law, customer requirements and Company policies.
Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption
MoreTasks does not permit bribery, corruption, kickbacks or other improper payments or benefits intended to influence a business decision or obtain an improper advantage. Employees and representatives must follow applicable anti-corruption laws and MoreTasks requirements when dealing with customers, suppliers, intermediaries, government officials and other third parties.
Gifts, hospitality, travel, charitable contributions, sponsorships and other benefits must not be used to improperly influence a decision. Any applicable thresholds, approvals or recordkeeping requirements should be followed under Company policy.
Applicable requirements may vary by jurisdiction:
- India: Applicable law may include the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 and other laws depending on the conduct and parties involved. Counsel should confirm the provisions relevant to MoreTasks’ operations.
- United States: Where applicable, U.S. anti-corruption requirements may include the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), depending on the Company’s activities, entities, personnel, counterparties and other jurisdictional facts.
- United Kingdom: Where applicable, the UK Bribery Act 2010 may apply depending on the relevant conduct and jurisdictional connection.
Conflicts of Interest
Employees and representatives should avoid situations in which personal interests could conflict, or appear to conflict, with MoreTasks’ interests. Potential conflicts should be disclosed through the Company’s designated process so that they can be reviewed and managed appropriately.
Fair Employment, Respect and Non-Discrimination
MoreTasks is committed to a workplace where people are treated fairly, with dignity and respect. Employment decisions should be based on qualifications, skills, experience, performance, role requirements and legitimate business needs, subject to applicable law.
MoreTasks does not tolerate unlawful discrimination, harassment or retaliation. Local employment and anti-discrimination requirements apply according to the relevant location and employment relationship.

Human Rights, Forced Labour and Modern Slavery
MoreTasks respects fundamental human rights and does not support forced labour, slavery, human trafficking or exploitative employment practices. Employees and representatives should raise concerns about suspected unlawful or unethical conduct through the Company’s approved reporting channels. For more information, check our Anti-human Trafficking and Modern Slavery Policy page.
Data Protection and Privacy
MoreTasks is committed to handling personal information responsibly and in accordance with applicable data-protection and privacy laws, contractual requirements and Company policies. Personal information should be collected, accessed, used, disclosed, retained and disposed of only for legitimate and authorised purposes and with appropriate safeguards.
Applicable requirements may vary by jurisdiction:
- India: The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 may apply to the processing of digital personal data within its scope. MoreTasks should comply with applicable requirements based on its role, activities and the nature of personal data processed.
- European Union: The EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) applies to processing within its material and territorial scope. Where GDPR applies to MoreTasks or a relevant processing activity, the Company will follow the obligations applicable to its role and circumstances.
- United Kingdom: UK data-protection requirements may apply depending on the relevant activity and territorial scope, including the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018 where applicable.
- United States: Privacy requirements vary by federal and state law. For example, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, applies to qualifying businesses that meet the statutory conditions. MoreTasks should assess applicable U.S. privacy requirements based on its operations and the data involved.
Information Security and Confidentiality
MoreTasks expects employees and representatives to protect confidential, proprietary and personal information entrusted to them by the Company, customers, employees and business partners. Access to information should be limited to authorised business purposes and handled according to applicable information-security requirements.
Customer-specific security obligations may apply through contracts, statements of work, security schedules or other requirements. Employees must follow the security controls and procedures applicable to their role and project. For more information, check our IT Security page.
Accurate Records and Financial Integrity
Business and financial records must be accurate, complete and maintained in accordance with applicable law, contractual requirements and Company recordkeeping policies. Employees must not knowingly create false, misleading or incomplete records or conceal material information from authorised reviewers.
Transactions should be supported by appropriate documentation and approvals. Expenses, invoices, time records and other business records must be submitted accurately and honestly.
Fair Dealing and Third-Party Relationships
MoreTasks expects employees and representatives to deal fairly with customers, suppliers, partners and other third parties. Business decisions should not be influenced by improper payments, undisclosed personal interests or misleading representations.
Third-party onboarding, due diligence, contracting and monitoring should follow applicable Company procedures and customer requirements.
Competition and Fair Business Practices
MoreTasks supports fair competition and expects employees and representatives to comply with applicable competition and antitrust laws. Employees should not enter into agreements or understandings that unlawfully restrict competition, including arrangements concerning prices, market allocation, customers or other competitively sensitive matters.
Responsible Use of Company Resources
Company systems, equipment, funds, information and other resources should be used responsibly, securely and for authorised business purposes. Employees must follow applicable information-security, acceptable-use, expense and asset-management requirements.
Reporting Concerns and Non-Retaliation
MoreTasks encourages employees and representatives to raise genuine concerns about suspected misconduct, legal violations, policy breaches, conflicts of interest, harassment, discrimination, bribery, information-security incidents or other unethical conduct through the channels made available by the Company.
MoreTasks does not tolerate retaliation against a person who raises a concern in good faith or participates appropriately in an investigation, subject to applicable law and Company procedures.
Investigations and Remediation
Reported concerns may be reviewed and investigated through processes appropriate to the nature of the matter, applicable law, confidentiality requirements and the individuals involved. Where a concern is substantiated, MoreTasks may take appropriate corrective, disciplinary, contractual or remedial action, subject to applicable law and Company policy.
Audits, Assessments and Monitoring
MoreTasks may conduct internal reviews, assessments or other compliance activities appropriate to its operations, contractual obligations and risk profile.
Any formal audit programme, independent assessment, certification, attestation or assurance report must be described accurately and only after the relevant activity and scope have been verified.
Training and Awareness
MoreTasks may provide training and awareness activities appropriate to employees’ roles, legal requirements, customer commitments and identified compliance risks. Required training should be completed within the applicable timeframes.
Responsibilities
Employees and representatives are responsible for understanding and following the requirements applicable to their work, seeking guidance when necessary and raising concerns in good faith.
Managers are responsible for supporting a culture of ethical conduct, escalating concerns appropriately and avoiding retaliation against individuals who raise genuine concerns.
Relevant Company functions are responsible for maintaining applicable policies, procedures, training, contractual controls and escalation processes within their areas of responsibility.
Local Law and Jurisdictional Requirements
This policy is intended to establish a common business-compliance framework across MoreTasks operations. It does not attempt to reproduce every legal requirement applicable in India, the United States, the United Kingdom or every EU Member State.
Local laws, regulations, employment requirements, contractual commitments and customer requirements may impose additional obligations. Where a local requirement is stricter or conflicts with this policy, the applicable legal or contractual requirement should be followed after appropriate review.
Policy Governance
This policy should be reviewed periodically and when there are material changes to MoreTasks’ legal entities, operations, services, jurisdictions, customer requirements or applicable law.
